This is a brand new duvet, which Jake could not wait to get cuddled up into.
This laundry is clean and warm. Fresh out of the dryer. This is just before Christmas 2010.
Daydreams of eating, too. This was taken up at the cottage in the summer of 2010. He is very serious about food and eating.
Jake and Gwenny have a cousin, Dakota. Even though Dakota is not quite as motivated by eating as my two, she never misses a cookie when the lid of the cookie jar opens. The dogs get a cookie when they come in from outside. Dakota could be sleeping on the couch when Jake & Gwenny come in from outside but the second the cookie jar opens - she is there in a flash for her cookie too.
And, speaking about cookies, since this blog is about eating and food - Jake could have been named Cookie. If we are out at the park he won't necessarily come when he is called by his name. But if I tell him I have a cookie, he comes running as fast as his short little legs will carry him!
And still talking about cookies, we will be posting some recipes for dog cookies. Mostly, this is my sister Bonnie who takes the time to make the homemade dog treats because I have a hard time cooking bacon that is not for me to eat! But stay tuned for the dog treats for all you dog owners.
